Welcome, Flickr fans!
When I was in middle school, my parents bought me a Canon AE1. From that moment, photography became another way for me to express myself about the world I experience.
I graduated from the California College of Arts and Crafts (aka, California College of the Arts) with a degree in graphic design, new media. While studying, I took photography classes and developed my skills. My course work included Black and White photography (I and II), and Large Format photography. My instructor Chris Johnson was fortunate enough to learn from Ansel Adams himself. Chris also taught us about The Zone System, the subject of a book that he has written.
I’ve been fortunate to travel to many places and document these with photography. Currently, I live in the San Francisco Bay Area, my primary photo subject.
Thanks for visiting. I hope you enjoy what I’ve discovered.
Always remember that when taking photographs, forgiveness is easier to achieve than permission.
