i have loved taking photographs since receiving a Kodak Instamatic on a birthday sometime in the 1970s when Slade, Mud and Abba were topping the charts and I dreamed of getting a Raleigh Chopper.

while appreciating that the image is what matters, i love dark rooms, old and plastic toy cameras, as well as the alchemical nature of film photography.

older and not much wiser, I now own and ride a road bike and my musical tastes have widened. I'm unmarried to my wife; a cat appeared followed by two children, a large black dog and a volvo estate. yes, the modern day fairytale came to pass.

and I stare and stare because many things are glorious just because they are.
