I joined Flickr only some months ago and decided I would try the group thing out, wasn't long before I ran into one of Karl’s work and went WOW!!!!! A quick visit to his profile and you realize this guy is pure talent, and creates some of the most breath taking work you will see on the internet period! Karl is much more then that though, he is not only inspiring by his incredible works but also took the time to help me understand where to show my work to get the best results which I will forever be grateful. I can say without any doubts if you have been lucky enough to have any dealings with Karl Williams you have connected with one of the most talented artists on Flickr/internet, you will not just be inspired but also surprised by his modesty and willingness to offer a helping hand which really makes knowing Karl a true pleasure. If I can just slow down this mans dynamic and give him something to read for a while... With Karl it is the incredible energy that is captivating, someone who I regard as an expert on the ways of Flickr and a true gentleman in his fairness of approach and treatment of all people. Attention to detail is probably his middle name. A dedicated photographer and a man who is always aiming at higher standards in his art. His photography of water and his native land are my favourites to view with wonderful flowing colour landscapes and beautiful falls. An exceptional standard of work but I know his true genius is yet to unfold. Karl is a character I have known for a short while but is now a true friend who, it feels, I have known for a longer time. We have built the beginnings of the truth gallery together but I alone know his power of determination and energy are the driving force behind it. Above all this man is here to enjoy himself..."if it isn't fun it's not worth doin" are the words I believe. I've heard wild rumours that he is also an expert at origami and a true master at creating the perfect curry,among other things....world class in fact. 06.03.09

I'd say yes--take one look at his pictures, and you can tell right off the bat he's a conscientious and caring gentleman, putting a lot of love into portraying his lucky subject matter with the power and vitality they deserve. He deftly manages to combine old-school analog photographic discipline and sensibility with new-school processing and treatment to produce some of the most captivating and original imagery around. Oh, and he's Scottish too.

Rarely do I write testomonials but in this case I make an exception. I like many others receive a myriad of empty superlatives on my stream at an alarming rate.However just occasionaly someone comes along that is a genuine contact, Karl is one of those rare people. Karl is never happy with his images bieng mediocre, or his style becoming static. His constant and dogged determination to improve and his gutsy approach to the art of photography is what sets him apart from the rest. Sharing the same space with such people is not simply and honour, but is truly inspiring.

when i first met karl on flickr i see what talent he had for photography detail and hes subject he had so many beautiful images through hes photostream and did not really get hes true recognition but after a while people were seeing what true talent he has and it was a pleasure looking through hes work sadly he left flickr for a break which people who dont know karl missed out on some beautiful images but good newes for everyone karl is back and im sure hes wonderful photos will continue to impress welcome back karl sorry im no good at wording only expressing what i feel
