I love photography! I've always been interested, but never done much to pursue it. This year, for my 30th birthday, my husband got me a Pentax K10. Now he regrets it. :)

I don't really know what I'm doing, but I'm having a blast taking photos. I am most interested in people --especially faces. So much can be said in a single look. Because I'm a stay-at-home mommy, I don't get out much. So the majority of my photos are of my kiddos and home life.

I'm loving flickr: seeing everybody's wonderful work, and learning a little here and there.

I love any comments that can be offered to teach/encourage me to take beautiful photos. :)

Update: I'm sadly becoming aware of the need to keep my children's photos more private. I've changed the contacts that I'm familiar with, to "friends" so that they can see my "people pictures." If you would like to be included in this group, let me know, and I'll consider adding you.... so sad that it has come to this.
