I am a lover of details.

I like to know what is behind the bigger picture.

I like to focus on the little things.

I have had a camera of one form or another since childhood.

It was a childhood dream to become a photographer...

travel the world and see my pictures in print...

A dream I gave up when I didn't believe in my ability...

but a dream secretly carried in my heart.

I recently realized...

I did not need to travel the world...

to tell amazing stories through pictures...

that there are stories all around me...

there are things I see...

in everyday life...

that others do not.

What you see here...

are my attempts to tell some of those 'stories'...

so come back every so often and

ps I am self-taught... learn through trial and error. So if there is a picture where I almost had it, would you be so kind and help me out by telling me what I could have done differently to improve the capture, composition or story?

pps I attended RMSP's (Rocky Mountain School of Photography) Summer Intensive Program in 2014. hopefully you'll see some improvement in my images 😊

since the end of 2014, I switched from the Nikon DSLR to my Fujifilm X-T1 mirrorless... I've also been shooting with my Samsung G7 phone.
