Kari is the best. I'd no more than dabbled in Second Life photography until I met her. She encouraged me to grow as an SL photographer, and eventually, that gentle encouragement began to be supplemented by swift kicks up the virtual backside when she sensed that what I was producing and what I was capable of were not the same thing! But that's what a true friend does: a real friend doesn't ignore your faults, he, or she, helps you overcome them. But Kari isn't just a friend and photographic mentor, she's a very accomplished practitioner herself, with a patient and painstaking approach to her work that I fear I shall never match.
