I was born with a passion for textiles: my genetic legacy.

Experience: a lifetime exploring the interplay of color,

texture, shape, proportion, movement, light and

depth of fabric and embellishment.

Original career: theatrical costume design: NYC.

Second round: 1984: LA Gallery owner: showing

only artists working in electronic media.

Circumnavigated to Home Couture:

Design & Fabrication utilizing textiles as a

reflection of my client's inner & exterior landscape.

Photography: as still life: a documentary reflection of my work.

As a human and a designer, I continue to evolve stylistically.

"I saw the angel in the marble and I carved until I set him free."

Disgusted Airplane (deleted)

Karen's work is lush, sensual, and gorgeous. She designs the pieces so they harmonize and enhance the destination environment. Her work shines but never overwhelms. Finally, her work is fabricated intelligently, on time and within the budget.
