I am a very keen amateur wildlife photographer from Suffolk.

Started back in September 2017 when I brought my first zoom lens, Sigma 150-600mm Contemporary which was used with a Canon 760D.

My only regret was that I didn't start this hobby years earlier.

It got me out of the house, visiting nature reserves near and far, and meeting like minded people.

I actually met my partner in a hide back in July 2018 and it's lovely to have someone to share my hobby with.

I love to travel the country with him visiting new places and photographing new subjects.

All wildlife photos posted on Flickr are taken out in the wild and from hides at nature reserves. We haven't yet ventured into paid hides but is something we are contemplating.

We like to get out, walk around and see what we can find, which makes it more fun and wanting to go out weekend after weekend for that buzz of finding something new.

I now shoot with a Canon 7D MkII, Canon 5D MkIV, Canon 100-400mm MkII and Sigma 105mm Macro.

I have now ventured into mirrorless technology with a Canon R7 and Canon 100-500mm lens.

I have been very fortunate to have had two photos shown on TV in both Springwatch (Swallowtail Butterfly in which Chris Packham said I was showing off lol) and Winterwatch (Pygmy Shrew where Michaela and Chris were comparing the differences in shrews). I have also won Star Photo in the RSPB Magazine.

I am featured in the 2023 RSPB Inspiring Nature Calendar after being one of 12 photos chosen in their competition. I am Miss December and my partner who was also chosen is Mr March.

I am also featured in the 2024 RSPB Inspiring Nature Calendar after being one of 12 photos chosen in their competition. I won third place and won a pair of binoculars. I am Miss June.
