I've never met someone as dedicated as Kara. This, paired with her great eye for a good shot, often leads to her going to great lengths to get the shot she envisions. Its a very common sight to see her laying on the ground to get the perfect point of view or climbing up and down obstacles to get her shot. She is one of the most talented photographers I know, with a impressive understanding of composition, lighting, framing, etc. When I am with her, she frequently points out a potential photo and becomes frustrated because she has left her camera in her car, followed by an analysis of why the shot she is imagining would be so interesting. She is also diverse in her mediums and subjects, doing both darkroom and digital photography, with subjects ranging from portraits to images of nature, all of which are executed perfectly. I know she is quite passionate about photography and has the potential to do anything she wants with this passion.
