COPYRIGHT
I own the copyright to all images in my photostream. That means you're not free to download, copy, reproduce or republish my work in any way - which includes printing, web sites, (Powerpoint) presentations, or your desktop - without my prior consent. If you would like to use one or more of my images or get access to an original to make a high quality print, you can contact me through kitepics at xs4all dot nl.
To be clear: I don't risk my camera just to give the (original, full-size) aerial pictures away to anybody who fancies them. I believe a reasonable compensation is in order. Commercial parties should be prepared to pay (near to) commercial rates.
COMMISSIONS
I don't normally take commissions for kite aerial photographs. It's primarily a hobby and my day job suits me just fine.
However, if you have an interesting idea for a Kite Aerial Photography subject or you would like me to take aerial pictures of your house, company or festivity and can accept it may take months for the right conditions to come along, just drop me a line at kitepics at xs4all dot nl. I'm always willing to consider a challenge - especially if you offer an interesting compensation, which need not be financial.
NL Gewoonlijk neem ik geen opdrachten aan, maar als je een interessant onderwerp hebt wil ik er best over nadenken. E-mail me op kitepics apenstaartje xs4all.nl.
Kites used for KAP:
- Gkites Fled MkIII (for light weather KAP)
- ITW Levitation Light Delta (light weather alternative)
- ITW Triton (for high line angles, another light weather alternative)
- Paul's Fishing Kites Nighthawk (surprisingly broad wind range, mainly for higher winds)
- Homebuilt ultralight Fled MkIII - two Skysharks high and three wide
- ITW Dan Leigh Trooper - high wind alternative for the PFK Nighthawk
- ITW Dan Leigh Little Bear - low wind Delta
Kites no longer used for KAP:
- Rhombus Sled; not stable enough and too prone to collapse in urban winds
- Gomberg Dopero; too much hassle to set up, never got it quite tuned right
