Photography is a journey which I enjoy because it enriches my senses and abilities. There are so many places, views, smells and sounds worth keeping forever that I rarely go anywhere without my camera. But taking a good picture is never enough. I need to extract the hidden life out of it and expose it -- pure and uncanny -- like you've never seen it before.

To me the act of creating an image is amazing in itself. The process of documenting a side of reality and later manipulating it in a way that will show a different aspect of it is the sublime aim of art. I love to twist the viewers' senses and to let them float freely in their own reflections. Our strength, as human beings, is that we can choose what to see.

The years saw me migrating from Praktica through Minolta to Sony and Fuji but I am currently using a Nikon D40x. For post-processing I rely on GIMP.

I am mostly fascinated by Nature and its everyday miracles and I am thankful that I have the chance to live in such an extraordinarily beautiful country as Norway.
