Hi guys! Most of my pictures on here aren't public. (I don't typically make images public with any kids in them.)

If you are a real-world friend, and I've taken pictures with you, you can create a free flickr account and add me to your friends list. Then, I can give you the appropriate permissions to view the photos in my account.

If you don't want to go through the hassle, talk to either Sarah or me and we can get you a login-free link to the appropriate sets.

I encourage you to use the slideshow to view images - it makes them full screen. You can view sets as a slideshow, searches, or my whole photostream.

If you are going to take something and add it to facebook, use the medium size image (works best if facebook doesn't resize the image), and make sure you or your family is in the photo.

For those interested in my photography in general, I usually shoot with a Nikon D300. I have a set of nikon speedlights, and some Alien Bees. I tend to stick with my 50/1.8 lens, but I also have a 70-300, an 18-200, and a 105/2.8. I've used Zeiss Distagon, Tokina, and other Nikkor lenses from lensrentals.com on occasion. For bulk processing, and some basic edits, I use lightroom. I also occasionally use Nikon Capture NX2 and Photoshop. I usually shoot RAW, which means I can sometimes brighten or darken a picture pretty easily by about 1 stop without any image quality loss. (if I have one that you like and I just missed it). Re-cropping, re-toning for print is also a possibility normally.

Most of the images here at flickr are snapshots and family photos. I do shoot a lot of other things and like to play around with my camera and I spend way more time in photoshop than I should.
