This is my second account, which I created to provide a more "curated" sample of my work; to see more of my photos, visit my old account at flickr.com/kaiserjp

I picked up aviation photography as a hobby while working at The Museum of Flight at Boeing Field in Seattle, WA back in 2013-14. I enjoy photographing just about anything with wings, but military aircraft (past and present) are by far my favorite.

Aside from photography, I completed my Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) Mechanic certification in 2016, so that I can do more with aircraft than just watch them from a distance. I currently work as a mechanic for the Heritage Flight Museum in Burlington, WA, and am working toward my Inspection Authorization and private pilot’s license. I completed a Bachelor’s degree in media production at Pacific Lutheran University in 2012, and have some past experience in audio recording, video editing, and journalism.

I currently live in Bellingham, WA, with my wife and our black lab/border collie mix. When I’m not at work or out taking photos, I enjoy spending time on creative and DIY projects in my shop, hiking and exploring the outdoors, and researching various aviation-related topics.
