My biggest passion is chasing and photographing butterflies, dragonflies, robber flies, birds, and generally anything that is living that's not a human being. I try to travel annually as much as possible and consider a late autumn stop in South Texas a must. Doing this helps me in my goal to photograph as many species of butterfly possible here in North America, north of Mexico. While I enjoy the opportunity of capturing a great shot my primary focus is finding as many new species each day as I can. So not all of my shots are masterpieces. Oh, and while doing this I like to just take a few to checkout the bugs characteristics and tendencies.
