John Walker is a West Yorkshire based amateur photographer from what used to be a small mining town called Normanton. I have a passion for all forms of digital photography but my main interest is in Urban landscapes and city & street panoramas.

Throughout my photostream you will see examples of my photographs with the use of a technique called HDR ( High Dynamic Range ) imaging to capture the most highlights and shadows of an image.

I tend to capture most of my images whilst I am on my holidays overseas, but in the future I intend to travel more in the UK to capture what we have to offer.

The tools of my trade are a Canon EOS 350D along with a Sigma 10-20, Canon EF 75-300 and a Canon EF 18-55 . but I always remind myself, buying a Canon does’nt make you a photographer, it makes you a Canon owner.
