Just hoping to continue improving my photography and post-processing skills while having fun. Prefer photographing nature and outdoor scenes, love the challenge of capturing a fleeting moment such as a bird taking flight. Retired from government work and enjoy spending more time with my camera, but also enjoying my new granddaughter.

The past 15 months or so have brought a string of extreme highs and lows. I apologize to the folks who follow me and those I follow for not being more responsive and not spending more time commenting on your beautiful photography. Hopefully, things are getting back into a normal pattern where I can spend time processing and posting my photos (huge backlog, here) and enjoying the work of others. You all inspire me. Thank you.
