Instrumental Illness's photos reminds me scenes of David Lynch's movies. Inspirations come from dreams, nightmares, subconscious, fantasy...I always wonder when I look at his work...This is the best compliment...:)
In a cold world, you can only try to capture and describe. if you have it, like Instrumental Illness has it, your work is probably outstanding. she takes us out, with her skills and mind. her work is philosophical. and it always takes my breath away.
Here you'll find an extremely consistent no-bullshit straight-faced artist who has not only found his life's calling, but probably his death's calling, as well. I consider his work (tites, notes, descriptions and all) very important amongst a sea of "seen it already" photographs, mine included.
