I'm a middle-aged male mountain biker, amateur photographer, naturist and spend most of my free time immersed in nature. I'm an opportunist nature and wildlife photographer who enjoys capturing natural scenes in all their splendour. The nature and wildlife photos you see in my stream are spontaneous, nothing is set up. My preferred mode of transport through natural settings - i.e. my mountain bike - gives me access to remote places, which means that I can carry only limited photography gear. I recently bought a Peak Design Everyday Sling (6L) and can safely say that this is the best sling bag I've ever owned! I carry my Sony A6500 APS-C camera and two lenses (usually my 70-200mm and 24-70mm). I'm sure that in a squeeze, I could probably fit my larger A7iv, if the need arose (actually the bigger A7iv is my go-to choice most of the time now when carrying my sling bag). This bag has already been through about a dozen monsoon-downpours, and covered in mud on almost every ride, but so far, not a drop of water has reached inside. The above might sound a bit like a sponsored ad, but this is purely me airing my immense satisfaction with this great bit of kit... but I'm open to offers Peak Design!!!

Since joining flickr in September 2022, I have arrived at numerous realisations and learned uncountable new things regarding photography and my own journey in this field of art. I have realised that my main areas of interest are entirely subjective - as they are with every individual - and my newfound-experimenting in these areas has been inspired by other members' photos - a big thanks to the entire community for this. Street photography is a new interest for me, as too is macro photography.
