Mandy Jordan, mixed-media artist and stamp designer. Expect pictures of: nature, especially tide pools, trees, stones and bones; abandoned buildings and found objects; rusty metal and flaky paint; food, primarily baked goods and vegetariania; parties, potlucks, and outings; roller derby, ultimate frisbee and other spectator sports; hikes and rambles; my own artwork (non-photographic); family memorabilia and antique photos; the arduous and adventurous process of cleaning out my father's house ("The Excavation"); science fiction-related nonsense (pulp magazine covers, mostly); my friends and family, who bring me joy; myself, as I learn to be comfortable in my own skin; thrift and yard sale finds; mediocre knitting and my lovely yarn stash; images of my home, my neighborhood and daily life; investigations into my history and genealogy; my husband, a reluctant subject; our cats (I try to keep that down to a dull roar); curiosities and collections; the NH cabin I inherited from my dad; travel (such as my Spring 2007 trip to Bhutan) and anything that might look cool through a camera lens.
