junky is an enigmatic street art avenger who creates creatures from the debris of society, then ressurects them onto wooden telegraph poles and other forgotten places around the globe,(well around Australia so far). all my work is made entirely from recycled or found objects except the nails, i can never find enough nails. i found that there was a bit of a following for my work here on flickr so i decided to open an account and upload my documentation of this ongoing project. All hail the mighty junky army, for soon there global invasion will be complete.

Piece.

it is indeed a strange tale of intertwined fates that has me and young junksworth in its grips. i once made him sing into a vacuam cleaner on skates rigged thru a large P.A. at the tender age of 17..we had sabaticals in the sand dunes and wrote great epics that caught the wind and vanished without trace. the boy had golden tonsils cast in gravel, a true bastard son of tom waits and captain beefheart. so...we went our seperate ways...5 years later and we both end up painting in the same graff crew...slight change of field..but the same boundless creativity and passion that had fueled our music. so...we went our seperate ways...5 years later and we find each other in olde melbourne town...except this time he has found his calling...Junky is on to something here, he manages to transcend his graffiti roots, whilst retaining the core ethos and adding his utterly unique aesthetic...i was blown away, and continue to be...and hope to be continued to be continueously..you know what i mean. i await further syncronicity
