Hi! thanks for checking out my Profile. I’m Julius Engel, currently living in Vienna Austria.

As you maybe already have seen from my photos, I mainly shoot portraits or people, but from time to time also capture what happens to be in front of me.

My photographical history:

My first Camera was an analog Canon EOS from the year 2000. At that time I seldom took pictures. After a long time without taking images, I got a Canon G11 from my father back in 2010. From that moment on I became obsessed by photography. Although the G11 is a great camera and me still using it today, five years later. I felt some limitations and got a Canon 7D a year after the G11. With the new capabilities of the camera I could learn new skills and was very happy. The bigger sensor and lens collection of fast primes was ideal for my main focus, portraits. Many ten thousand images later I decided to move to full frame and bought myself a 5D Mark III. She is big, she is heavy, but I love her!
