ABOUT MY PHOTOGRAPHY: I'm based in the south of England... I've always loved taking photos from my earliest Brownie 127 camera through 35mm days, and still have my first SLR, a Pentax ME Super still in working order. Started converting to digital in 2000 but rather lost my way with it until 2009 when I took a digital photography course through the Open University (T189). Several cameras later... Nikon D90/D7200/D750 and more recently, Olympus/OM E-M5/M1 variants and now the OM-1... my interests are mostly in photographing the outdoors, particularly nature and wildlife, and flowers. I also enjoy participating in various Flickr challenges and co-run the April "month in 30 pictures" challenge, see www.flickr.com/groups/aprilphotoadayforamonth/. Perhaps the biggest change of all has been discovering photo sharing and Flickr in particular, and all the wonderful people I've met on this site, several of whom have become close friends.

ABOUT MY PHOTOSTREAM: Photos are shown in the order they were uploaded - newest first - I can't change this so the order will appear pretty random! For a more organised view, go to 'Albums' where I've tried to bring some order to my archives (currently over 11,000 photos). The first few albums are recent - the last year or two. Then we go into a set of alphabetically ordered albums, from Abstracts to Zoos. After that are albums relating to trips and holidays I've had in past years, for example Falkland Islands 2022 and Botswana 2019, plus Days Out for each year. Hiding at the end are the albums from different projects or challenges I've participated in or set for myself, such as One a Day 2017, Wild birds 2023 and Best of 2016 - some of them are quite random! If you have the time and interest, I hope you enjoy browsing through my archives back to 2009 and beyond!
