I live in Clarksburg, MD now, after stints in Atlanta, GA, Fukuoka, Japan ('94-'99), Tokyo ('92 - '94) and New Orleans ('87 - '91). Born in Wisconsin, I first moved to Atlanta in 1980.

I've been a camera freak since I was four, when my grandmother used to let me play with her brownie camera with no film in it. I remember asking her if she would give it to me - "when you're fourteen," she replied. That seemed like forever.

I didn't have to wait that long. My aunt gave me a 110 camera kit when I was nine, which I put together and took on family travels. I'll scan those someday.

For now, we get what I've shot with my two Olympuses, an E-500 I bought in Nov. '05 or my C-840L I got in '99. Working on uploading those images as I get the chance - the Yamagasa set is an example of my 1.3 megapix days.
