So. I'm Julia. For the past few years I've been into manual black-and-white photography (old-school Pentax ME) and involved with the photo development process, from film developing to contact sheets to printing the photos themselves.

I have yet to get an SLR (saving up!) but for the time being, I've been using a pretty old Olympus point-and-shoot (3.1 MP) which, with patience, takes some surprisingly satisfactory photos. Digital color photography is real different from what I'm used to...so bear with me here.

Hopefully, soon, I can get some scans of my manual photos up.
