Just to stick with the photography …

I always liked the visual crafts. My first SLR camera I got when I was 17 in the late 70's. It was a PORST compact-reflex OS. I took several courses in photgraphy and I was hooked.

On a very extensive travel to Australia in 1989 I also enjoyed working with, at the time, a very comfortable point and shoot. The Ricoh TF900 Automatic. With gaining experience, I learned that great photography is primarily not dependent on the fanciest technique. In my opinion, your eye and picturing a frame for your image, is the key to all photography.

Today, as a graphic designer, I am happy that I can dwell on the professional side in one of my favourite hobbies.

Where am I located?

Originally I am from Germany. I grew up in the town of Verl in Nordrhein-Westfalen. I also lived in Paderborn and in Elmshorn near Hamburg.

In December 2002 our family moved to Canada. Today I live in Riverview, New Brunswick. Riverview is part of the Tri-Community Moncton-Riverview-Dieppe which is also known as Metro or Greater Moncton.
