I started with photography when I was 14, strictly B&W, in my own small lab at home, then rediscovered photography in the digital age. Living in Italy for the better part of my life, working for an intergovernmental organisation. I now also spend quite some time in Paris.
I think of myself as an artist behind the lens, I find boundless joy in the act of capturing moments and scenes through photography. My work is a creative outlet that allows me to explore the world and its myriad facets. Through my lens, I seek to unveil the extraordinary within the ordinary. I find particular fascination in the realm of modern architecture.
Black and white photography is my chosen medium for many of my photos for its capacity to distill the essence of this world's marvels. By stripping away color, I focus on the interplay of light, shadow, form, and texture, revealing the stark beauty that exists within the lines, curves, and structures, soften as I can of contemporary buildings. It's a timeless approach that transcends eras and allows viewers to see the familiar with fresh eyes.
I am deeply grateful to those who take moments from their busy lives to engage with my work. Your time and attention are cherished, and I hope that my photographs offer you a different perspective of the world around us. Through my lens, I aim to share the wonder, inspiration, and curiosity that what surrounds us awakens within me.
In each image I present, there lies a story, a vision, and a piece of my heart. Thank you for being a part of this artistic journey.
