I have been working in communications for over 15 years, and one thing I know for sure is that communication is SO much more than words on a page. Images, still or moving, have the ability to reel your audience in, capture their attention, and entice them to read and understand the details of your message. Since 2003, I have been chasing after life with my trusty Canon Rebel. (Actually, I'm on my fourth.) I have worked as a freelance photographer for Post Newsweek Group, and more recently, have been engaged in research-related photography at the National Institutes of Health. Since 2008, with internet statistics clearly indicating that people spend more time watching moving graphics on the web, I added video and animation to my repertoire of skills.
