I am 80 years old and retired. I gained a BA (Hons) in Humanities with History & Art History at the Open University, and A levels in Photography and Zoology and that is the sum total of my technical and academic achievements! In 2011, I studied Spanish at Colegio Delibes in Salamanca, Spain, for six months and have a passion for all things Spanish and Cuban. I adore both countries. I held a British Private Pilot´s License for over 35 years .

I have over 16 cameras - mainly antique - but generally use a Rollie 35 and a Pentax Spotmatic 11 for Black and White and a Nikon D750 with 50mm, 16-35mm, 24-120mm , 70-300mm telephoto and Sigma 105mm macro lenses , SB700 flash, also a Leica D-Lux 5 with Giottos , Jobo and Slik tripods for Colour. I have had a passion for photography since I was 7 years old (when I received a Kodak Brownie Reflex camera as a present from my parents) - I just wish I was better at it. Ja Ja.
