I've always tried to see things a little differently. Photography has always been my passion and allows me to show people the world that I see. And it allows me to show the world the people that I see.

I am really a portraitist trapped in a world of lens flare, Dutch tilt and shallow depth of field. I want to capture the person that I'm shooting when they not being the person that they think the camera should see. It's in those fleeting moments when I believe the true person is revealed.

Lately I've become more of a film shooter. I went back to film after several years of shooting digital. I felt like I needed to hone some skills I felt were getting dull and under used as a digital shooter. I started shooting medium format and found that I love it! Now I shoot my Mamiyas when I want portraits and 35mm when I shoot on the street.
