My Mission Statement, My Art:

Intrinsically, the human experience revolves around relation… relation with one’s self, relation with others, even relation with the very ground on which one stands. It is a relationship based upon perimeters and boundaries. Our very language is based off these delineations.

My work is about breaking defined structures and capturing the true, ineffable quality that is human experience. My expression reaches to the shades between the borders that delineate our usual definitions and limit our experiences.

The world is not black and white. It is all about color. My life goal is to use every method and medium possible to articulate each of those hues and different values. I am human in my quest for identity and definition, but I still believe that I can create my own footprint. Maybe people will find a little bit of themselves in my process of exploration... that would be lovely.

I studied at The University of North Texas, The University of Denver and a glass blowing apprenticeship for a year.
