I have always loved photography, going back to when I was little. I got back into it about seventeen years ago with my kids being in ballet and a need from the ballet school to have pictures of the performances. Most moms and dads just don't have the skills to produce good pic's, so I took on the task. I pulled out all of my old Minolta AF film cameras and lenses and found out that I could use my older Minolta AF (A-Mount) lenses on the new Sony digital bodies. That set me off! It was so cool to use old glass with the new bodies and soon I became hooked. I was looking for old Minolta lenses everywhere. Then I found out I could use older M42 screw mounts as well. Again I went crazy trying every M42 lens I could find. Now it has gone way past ballet!!

I take the camera with me everywhere. I travel for my work, so I usually have plenty of new targets of interest. I am all over the map when it comes to subject matter. If it looks interesting I shoot it! I really love learning about photography and especially enjoy the interaction of ideas of other fellow photographers on Flickr and other boards. I shoot with the awesome Sony a7III, a7II, A77M2 and a6000 now, but started with film Minolta's, Sony A300 then Sony A65 then a77.
