Bio.............

I am working on my first documentary film.

I am intensely curious about our world and want to share what I learn and see.

I was a producer for “The Book of True Feelings”, a VR project accepted at 3 film festivals. I did the 48 Hour Film Project seven times, usually as Team Leader, often as director. Most are listed in my IMDB page.

I almost became a professor of Anthropology; the natural end point of BA’s in Anthropology and Psychology. A break from grad school became career as a web designer/developer. Watching the web develop and radically transform our relationships, our world, and our understanding of each other was interesting too.

We construct and share models of reality, and sometimes test those models and share what we learn. Our defining evolutionary trait is this learning and sharing. And then arguing a lot.

How we do this, the details of when and where and why, and why not, fascinate me.

Web design and development taught me lots about communicating ideas, managing these conversations, working with others to create these conversations, project management, editing and getting feedback.

I am a photographer, and continue to learn, grow, and develop projects.

I'm back on Flickr, after being away for many years. I don't promise to stay, but I'll be adding new photos and looking at some of the old ones.

About Ferries...........

A while ago, a friend asked if I wanted to attend some photographers on ferries thing. I replied I had zero interest. But... I hadn't been out with a camera in too long, I had a a hole in my schedule the right size and shape.... And I'm sure you know where this is going.

Yes. I've since made lots of images on Ferries. It's now an on-going project.

The current album are some of the latest, much improved by the comments of the friend in question. But some of her comments, wise and experienced though they are, just didn't work for me.
