At the young age of 13, he saved his last pennies to get himself his first camera, a Sony P&S. He would tag along with friends and his oldest brother to car events and take his own pictures with ambitions of one day becoming a professional and getting his own work featured in a magazine.

After growing out of that camera, he asked his mother for a Nikon D50 as a Christmas and Birthday present together. He was delighted to see a yellow box sitting under his tree when he woke up on that December 25th. Quickly opened the box and charged the batteries, soon as they finished charging, off he went taking pictures.

He then saved money working part time and got himself a few lenses and gadgets. He felt the need for an upgrade, so he sold off his Nikon D50, saved and bought a Nikon D200. He sold off his 'cheaper' lenses and replaced them with nicer glass to get extra sharp pictures. He has now evolved into capturing people while still balancing the cars.

Living in Miami is a great help for Jose, non stop night life, the cars, the women, the great weather has pushed him even more to pursue his goal. Getting featured on a couple of different websites at the age of 18 is a great accomplishment for him. He feels he has halfway reached his dream, getting featured in a magazine.

Keep the lookout for the name, Jose SanLuis. It will be in a magazine one day in the near future.
