You can never really start photography... u just grow up into it... u start by going to the photographer in your neighborhood, then u start taking those fancy portraits, you go to your friend that just got married and look at her album, you graduate college and look at all those photos that you and your friends took. Photography has always been around me, phone photos, cameras, videos. It’s just now that I have thought about this beautiful hobby seriously. I have been taking a few classes at the scientific club of Kuwait.

What I have learned from my friends and online and in classes, is that you don’t need a fancy 3000$ DSLR camera and camera gear. All you really need is to learn how to use your camera and work it well. If photographers have been taking rich quality pictures for 140 years I think I can get excellent pictures from my great simple digital camera.

I think everyone can be an artist in their own way. You don’t have to be a professional in landscape or macro, all you have to do is enjoy what you love and stick with it. And that’s exactly what I’m doing.

"Here's a secret: neither I nor any pro I know actually carries any of these hippopotamodes around on a regular basis. Since we all carry a wide zoom and a tele zoom (usually each on its own dedicated camera), we drop a 50mm fixed lens in our bag for the times we need something in-between our other two big zooms, or need a fast aperture for low light.

 

Midrange zooms are more for weekend wedding photographers than full-time career pros. I don't know who buys these; I suspect innocent amateurs thinking that owning these big, scary lenses somehow make them into better photographers."

  

The reason I enjoy photography is it takes away my pains; I take photos to make me smile, as I can see the world in such a different way.
