Electrical Engineer, Wisconsinite, into astro and macro photography.

Main equipment used is Canon 5D3 and EF 100mm/f2.8 Macro USM lens (best lens ever!). Non-macro work includes the EF 70-200mm/f2.8L IS II (best lens ever!) and the EF 28-70mm/f2.8L II (also best lens ever!). For artistic shots I use the EF 16-35mm/f2.8L II.

I have a Speedlite 580EX II though I rarely use it.

For astrophotography I have a Celestron CGEM 1100HD and use the Canon 60Da (the "a" is for "astrophotography" and the camera has a modified IR filter over the sensor to allow imaging of HII regions). I manually track using Celestron's off-axis guider and Orion's 12mm illuminated reticle eye piece.
