I have been interested in photography for most of my life and have constantly worked to improve my technical skills and my compositional skills. It's only been within the last couple of years that I have found a renewed passion for this hobby and have strived to bring a more compelling visceral and emotional message into my photography.

To me, photography has become the creative outlet that I've been searching for most of my life. Photography for me is a way to express and share my emotions, my awe at the beauty surrounding me, tell a story or evoke an emotion in a viewer. it is a way for me to connect with folks at a conscious and/or subconscious level through the visual art.

Being based in Portland Oregon, I am fortunate to have a spectacular coastline or a towering mountain range within a couple of hours from my home. Plus, everything in between, such as lush forests, sub-alpine meadows, flowing rivers and a very nigh concentration of waterfalls. I feel truely blessed to be in the Pacific Northwest, which offers some of the finest scenery for a landscape photographer.
