Hobbyist .. but willing to take it to a higher level!

I started photography back home in the Philippines during highschool. My journalism teacher entered me to a photo competition using someone else's photo! . Ended up going to the nationals (using my photos in the regionals ofcourse)! My first camera was a manual Canon SLR which I mainly used for holidays. Then came digital - then everything changed. Now, I use Nikon D700 - although heavy, it is far the best camera I ever had.

I would appreciate comments and constructive criticisms...
