I live in Wales, which is one of the most beautiful places to be.I'm now 47. (I wrote this bio when I was 47 and after I joined flickr. I hate to say it, but I am now 61. Still disabled with a fair amount of metalwork in my spine and still on crutches...refuse to give in and use a wheelchair) I have had my children and bought them up in this wonderful rural area, yet just minutes away from beaches.

Now my children are no longer children, I have got Ridgebacks.

We had a wonderful dog, Baz, until a couple of years ago when he died - and he was a hard act to follow, but our ridgebacks Angus and Gwennon are just amazing.(Since writing this bio, Angus and Gwennon are no longer with ùs. it broke my heart when each of them died. both aged 11 1/2. we have 2 more ridgebacks. Emrys is now nearly 8, and Seren, his daughter, is almost 6. love them to bits.) We also have a cat, Bliss. (also since writing this bio, Bliss is also no longer with us. she died a few years ago and I miss her but we never got another cat)

I love my camera - and I love taking photographs, probably because there are so many images out there to capture - that I just wish I could carry it everywhere (tho I take it most places with me).

Having Ridgebacks - we go to many places and walk so there are many opportunities to take pictures of all these wonderful places around me. I still use my camera that I used when I wrote this bio. I might get a new one, one day soon. my phone camera is not as good as it was advertised, but certain photos come out well. I haven't posted on flickr for a loooooong time. but intend to start again. idid find for a while that I was banked from some groups for things I had not done..as I wasn't actually on flickr during that time. whoever hijacked.my account at that time was not a nice person and I hope they have nor done serious damage to my character on here.

Due to back injury - I am now on crutches - but it doesnt stop me from trying to do all the things I want to do. Admittedly I cannot walk as far - or fast - but I still gotta have exercise (like my dogs) - so I still get out and about and all over wales.(not so much now - 2024 - but try. cannot walk far at all Burt stilll love nature and many other things. I keep trying and pushing myself. and I keep smiling. I won't be joining lots of groups now - 2024 - because they take so much time. but I may still do an occasionàl few.

I may not post photos of myself.( I go past a mirror and wonder who is that strange old woman looking back at me), so vanity may stop me. I don't like growing older. tho if I live to 120, then I am only middle aged now haha)

I refuse to let a little thing like disability stop me from having fun. Stubborn - thats me.
