Wife, Mom, Grandma, Friend, Photographer, Artist ...

I was born, raised in Vancouver, BC. and remain here in one of the most gorgeous scenic places in Canada, our beautiful west coast. It's the best climate in all of Canada too. Although it is a rain forest climate, golfing and riding your motorcycle, horse or bicycle can be done just about year round here.

As a photographer, the inspiration is endless so the natural beauty is a big part of what I love to capture. I love gardening which serves two purposes ... I get to grow what I want to shoot! The ocean and it's surroundings is at the top of my list for favourite subjects. When I have the chance to travel, Lighthouses are a must shoot subject.

Over the years, especially here on Flickr, I have gained so much from being a part of this Flickrdom, that I couldn't begin to count how many truly gifted people have had a part in my growth as an artist. One can only imagine the extent of great things I will continue to learn from the inspiring people I meet every day here.

I am an 'Nikonian' through and through from film through to wonderful digital, I have been on an awesome adventure discovering the most incredible subjects which allow me to convey my fascination through such an expressive medium. A dear friend of mine, Larry, who is a fellow photographer, once said to me, "Shoot What You Love" ... so I do.

Well not so new to Flickr anymore, but the gratitude remains the same, thank you fellow Flickrites for your kindness and friendship. You have given me a wealth of information to learn from, aspire to and see the world through your eyes.

I am inspired and in awe looking at an astounding amount of talent in all of you and feel very privileged to be part of such a wonderful group of individuals.

Photography is in my soul, it is my passion. Stress management for me is picking up my camera and just "seeing" what is new today.

Working in the post processing phase is equally gratifying and fascinating. Sometimes I believe I would rather just sit here and create more than anything else on the planet.

I work with Adobe Photoshop CS5, .... LOVE it!
