At age 8 yrs old, I drew a picture of Dr. Martin L. King in grand school and then one day later, my 4th teacher said, “ who drew this picture? It’s very good but I didn’t say nothing because I was too shy about and didn’t say nothing at all. Two years later…At age 10, It’s was the summer time of 1995, I begin doing a new hobby but a talent as well, It called art. I did different kinds of materials of art from painting to pencil drawing of things but I starting to have my period for the first time. I being inspired by doing art from my grandmother and my older cousin because they did art when they were young and telling me stories, how they do art by their imagination. Why I do create art in the first place because of my imagination of my head and love of art because it is everywhere in the world. You see it in outside and inside of shapes, colors and Etc. The kind of different art I create are watercolor painting, ink painting and drawing But the most favorite one is painting because I like better than drawing. The materials I love to work with are paints, watercolor paints, pastels and pencils but I want to work with oil paint. My kind of style I use a lot of colors, people and faces. My favorite thing about my work is I Love the shapes and the lines I do. My theme that I work with being your self and who you are in a person and being crazy like Frida Kahlo. Frida Kahlo is one of my favorite artist because she talks about herself in her painting and other artists I truly like are Andy Warhol and Keith Harding. My unique about my artwork is the design I made and create. The challenges I have faced and overcome in my art is I was able to fix certain shapes and change them. If something looks crooked, I want to fix it. My artistic goals for the future is I want to show my art to people and create my own art gallery in Soho, Harlem and Japan.
