I began shooting B&W film in high school camera club around 1969. My subsequent occupation involved quite a bit of photographic work but of a documentational aspect, not of an "artistic" nature. I started to concentrate on "art" centered photographic images when I retired in 2010 and returned more to the B&W photography we shot in my earlier film years. B&W photography has always been of special interest for me as it is all about light and shadow; texture and tone. Detail stands out in black and white.
I shoot 35mm and 120 formats, and recently got into large format 4x5 film, glass plate and paper negative images. I still do shoot some digital images, but I think I like the process of working with film because of the hands-on processes involved. I enjoy experimenting with film, vintage cameras & lenses, and am a big fan of pinhole photography. I also tend to collect film cameras as I come across them from time to time in antique shops and flea markets.
Thanks for checking my photostream and I'll close by offering you my best wishes - Larry
