I recently discovered that I'm Autistic. It explains a lot about my life and art. I literally perceive the world differently. 'm happy to take pictures of just light and textures because the details are intoxicating. That's why I spend so much time taking pictures of so little.

Most of these photos are an inadvertent documentation of my Autistic perception of the world. The way the light bounces off a building, the colours of fall leaves, the patterns of overlapping shadows on a white wall. I'm using a camera to capture and emphasize a slice of what I can perceive. The goal is simply a beautiful image that's pleasing to look at. Like a truffle.
