Josh's Mom - Dedicated to saving lives by providing swimming lessons to miniority youth who tend to drown 3 times more than others. My son is John-Joshua Butts who drowned at the age of 16 years old on August 6, 2006 at Bird Lake, Michigan. He had never had a swimming lesson and could not swim. My mission to is educate on the importance of everyone knowing how to swim and being water safe at all times so another mother will not have to suffer from losing her child to a preventable drowning accident.
