I am 15 years old and have been 'into' photography for the past three years and i feel like i have a lifetime of knowledge.

I started to get into photography when i was 13 years old. My mum had recently bought a Canon EOS 450D and there was a photography competition at my school. It was for the Dural District Heritage Society I decided to enter and I won winning a total of $200 overall in two categories with the photos:

Knowing I had a chance, I then entered the2010 Castle Hill Show however i was unsuccesful.

After this I really started to like photography and my mum's friend took me on a photoshoot to her studio and i started to really learn things.

I then entered the "Hills Youth Week 2010 Photo Competiton":www.thehills.nsw.gov.au/external/hillsvoices/YouthPhotosJ... and won runner up with the photo: "Pegs":www.redbubble.com/people/joshie9444/art/7809155-pegs along with a voucher at $90 for a "Red Door Creative":www.reddoorcreative.com.au/ workshop with "Sarah Moore":www.redbubble.com/people/bigbear where she taught me and two other friends about "Smoke Photography":www.redbubble.com/groups/smoke-photography and i took the photo:

I then entered the "Marian College, Kenthurst":www.mariancollege.nsw.edu.au/ Science Photography competiton and i recieved first prize for my photo "Ladybeetle on Orange":www.redbubble.com/people/joshie9444/art/7809024-orange-la... along with a $70 Harvey Norman gift voucher.

After This I entered the "2011 Castle Hill Show":www.castlehillshow.com.au/chs/chs.pma/Home?OpenPage and recieved two first place ribbons for my photo
