I was born on February 18th, 1953 in Luxembourg City. My fascination for photography started when I was 9 years old. I had my first analog camera at the time of my first communion: a Voigtländer VITO CD. It is my father who initiated me with the technique of photography. At the beginning of the Seventies, I bought my first camera reflex with interchangeable objectives. Thereafter, at the beginning of 2000, I upgraded to the digital technologie.

After the meticulous work in darkroom of the last century, it is now the handling and workflow in Photoshop which is used to give a last touch of perfection to the photographs. The creation of a photo book constitutes today the ideal support of presentation and conservation. For the impression of exclusive photographs (art exhibitions), I use a inkjet printer with FineArt media.

The photography has become a natural possibility to express my personal creativity and remained since my childhood on my privileged passion. I improved myself constantly with the help of the constructive criticism of my colleagues of various Clubs: Photo club BGL, Diafrënn of the commune of Lorentzweiler and Photo Ciné Club Goodyear at Colmar Berg, but also by the means of the press/documentation specialised in photography. My author/artist of reference is the Luxembourgish landscape and nature photographer Raymond Clement.

My preferred themes are the photography of nature with all its facets and travel reports. Other particular techniques aroused my interest, in particular the High Speed photography and the long exposure. A selection of my photographs, grouped in Yearbook' s, can be visualised at the following address:
