Hi,

My name is Joris, I studied graphic arts, graphic design and illustration in Brussels. Since my childhood photography is one of my mayor occupations.

I started using my first reflex, a Praktica MTL3 with a Pentacon 50mm f/1.8 lens, which was a great camera to practise photography: All manual ;-)

In June 2005 I switched to digital photography by purchasing a Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ20 which is a compact camera equiped with the brilliant Vario-Elmarit Leica lens.

In the meantime I had several Pentax SLR's and also a magnificent Yashicaflex TLR, which still has to be repaired.

In July 2007 I joined flickr.

Obviously I work as a freelance graphic designer and since a few years I work also with digital images, digital photography, retouching, manipulation and creation of such. Beside, I still continue with the type and text work, design of logo and isotipes as well layout jobs in general.
