Jon is, without question, one of my favourite contacts (and friends) on Flickr. His work - particularly landscapes and churches - is breathtaking and often very innovative - I can't count the number of photos I've faved! He has a great eye for composition and is doing wonderfully on his Project 365; even on the less eventful days he always has a story to tell. On top of this, he's an incredibly supportive contact and I've really learnt a lot from his comments! Catching up on Jon's stream is always a pleasure and I can't wait to see where his talent and great eye takes him in the future :-) x

He's a god in my eyes... he can cook... but this is supposed to be about photography.... It's been a real pleasure watching the development of Jon's Project 365 photo stream; he has so many good friends on Flickr it's always worth several visits to read everyone's comments... and we've all learned so much about him... :) Jon's landscapes and are beautiful; they're very emotive... and looking through his work you will always find a touch of gentle, compassionate humour....

Jon was the first person to leave a comment on one of my photo's when I took up photography as a hobby at the beginning of June. For that I will always be grateful. He has always been very helpful, encouraging and always seems to be available to offer help or advice. Jon takes a great picture and for me personally, the highlight of his excellent photostream is the "Sunset at Saltburn" set.
