I'm a photoMultimedia Journalist trying to get back to photo-video balance... something keeps pulling me back to my Canons.

 

I travel a bit w/ work and that's been amazing.

 

1. I think too much.

 

2. I question my best ideas until they are totally dead.

 

3. I am trying to correct this

 

4. This place and my blog are how I work through this problem.

 

5. I'm really bad w/ Facebook.

 

6. I'm a social media hypocrite.

 

7. I am more inspired by expat photographers living in Japan than by anyone else and I don't know why.

 

7a. I think I want to move to Osaka.

 

8. I wish I could just shoot film on a couple of well built RFs and let someone else do the rest of the work.

 

8a. I don't really want to do that.

 

9. I don't believe photography will change the world.

 

9a. But I do believe that it will change me, and honestly, that might be enough.

 

10. I hate pretentious semi-porn labeled "art", it feels like shit/foil earrings (See Zoolander), and there is a LOT of it here on Flickr.

 

11. I'm conflicted about Flickr.

 

12. I'm still here because I'm narcissistic and driven by others praise just like everyone else here.

 

13. I believe that there are better reasons for me to be here, but that's what I feel most of the time.
