I was born in Tacoma, WA and grew up in the Lake Tapps area of Pierce County. I hold a Bachelor of Science degree from Pacific Lutheran University, majoring in biology with a minor in chemistry. I'm currently living in Peoria, Arizona working as a Physician Assistant.

As photography goes, I don't pretend to be a genuine professional or real artiste. I consider myself a lifelong conservationist and nature enthusiast, and enjoy photographing and writing about the wild and beautiful places of the world with my beautiful wife.
