Hi,

Im Jon. Im a 40 year old now living in Horley, Surrey.

My passion is photography. I love trying out new techniques and experimenting with ideas.

I only started playing with cameras seriously in 2010 but was pleased to learn on a Canon 35mm. I think this tought me much about composition and when I purchased my first DSLR it was a natural progression. Although I love digital I still enjoy using 35mm and have purchased a Canon A-1 to play with.

I have been lucky enough to win the Sussex Locals Photography Group Competition 5 times and have been published in a few school magazines and have worked as 2nd photographer on paid shoots. I also enjoy portraiture and am currently working to develop my portfolio.

I am currently working on wildlife photography and really like the fact that every shot is new and exciting. It's a real skill and you have to learn to be patient. The time you are alone and wiring for the shot is a great time to reflect, to almost meditate in the quietness.

I still enjoy the portraiture but models are few and far between.. Good ones that is but if your interested in working together let me know.
